How To Make Money Online-Part 2

(Please note - understanding and implementing this - will set you apart from 97% of others...)


WARNING! This article will change your perception of how to make money online!


97% of people wanting to make money online - fail.


97%!


Why is that so high?


I'll tell you.


Because - in all honesty - 97% of people online don't really understand what they are doing.


And if you've been in that situation -- that's ok. Don't berate yourself - just admit it -- today's a new day - now lets move on and do something about it.


What I am going to tell you in this, tiny,unknown blog - is not some radical, new underground super doper mystical technique.


In fact the opposite.


What I am going to share wtih you -- is a battle hardened, money making method that marketers have been using for years -- both on and offline.


I found out that One of the reasons that why those successful network marketer have done well in a relatively short amount of time -- is because they focus on the fundamentals. They create systems that work and they repeat them.


This eliminates many of the bumps and hazards that many make in this business.
Learn a good system from them -- then when UNDERSTOOD -- and IMPLEMENTED -- works.


There is a road map to making money online.
Success leaves clues.


You probably have heard this and it attribute to marketers success online to three little words:


BUILDING. A. LIST.
What does this mean?


Let me tell you - and when you understand this - this will make the difference between failure and success online.


97% of people online will try and SELL straight away.


WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!


Any successful web business works in fundamentally the same way -- and that is creating a web site that is of a certain topic.


Then you GIVE SOMETHING AWAY FOR FREE -- to BUILD A LIST.


This is the step that 97% of people MISS OUT! They are too busy trying to make a sale immediately.


Once you begin to have a list -- you finally market related products to your list.


Now of course - there is a little bit more to it than just this (like generating traffic to your free offer) - but if you understand the above - you understand more than most online.


I hope I am conveying exactly how powerful this is.


I learn this technique all the time - yet I still see many try and sell straight away.


If you understand the power of BUILDING A LIST first - and then nurturing a relationship with your list BEFORE you try to sell (ie treating people as PEOPLE - NOT cyber credit cards) - then you will do well online.

Thought To Be Think Of - Treat Your Visitors Like They Are 4th Graders (in a good way!)

Life is hectic. People are busy. We all need more time.

It's important you remember this when a visitor hits your site.

When someone clicks to our webpage they are on their own -- there are no sales clerks to guide them through.

If we don't get their attention immediately -- they will be gone (never to return).

It's REALLY important therefore that we remember this -- and it's REALLY important that we make it easy for our visitor when they drop by.

The one and only thing we want - is for our visitor to TAKE SOME SORT OF ACTION. This will either be:

Sign Up To Our List (which I always recommend)  Or Make A Purchase

But before our visitor does either of the above -- we need to put ourself in our visitor's shoes.

Why should he or she sign up? Why should he or she buy?

Would you?

A lot of sites make it overly complicated for their visitor. Too many choices -- too many distractions.

Treat your visitor like a 4th Grader.

Tell them -- literally -- what your site has to offer.

Take them by the hand -- and tell them what to do.

I mean it! Spell it out - word for word. I do! Put something like the following message on one of your sites:




Since adding this message -- I have seen an increase in the amount of visitors that take action and sign up!

This stuff really works!

If you can make a video -- great. Tell your visitor what to do.

If you want them to sign up to get your free eBook, literally say '...I want you to sign up to get your free eBook...'

Treat your visitor like a 4th Grader.

Tell them what will happen next. If they are going to be sent an email with a link to the free gift -- TELL THEM! and BE HONEST!...We are building relationship here not just trying to sell something. We are trying to give value to  them..NOT trying to cheat them.

If you can make the whole 'visiting-your-site' experience as easy and as simple as possible -- you will have achieved what most website owners do not.

And that is a customer that is happy to deal with you.

A prospect is the web term for someone visiting your website.

Once at your site -- your job is to give each prospect a compelling reason to TAKE ACTION .

Yeah I know, yawn, yawn, yawn, we've all heard how important TAKING ACTION is blah blah blah...

But wait! If you are serious about making money online -- you need to know this.

There is a technique -- to making money online.

A lot of people (by far the majority) have 'luck' as a core strategy in their business plan.

'…I hope someone will buy…'…maybe I'll be lucky…'

Come on! Who wants to run a business like that?

There is no luck needed to make money online. What there is -- is hard work and a solid understanding of this business.

I'm going to assume you are fine with the hard work.

But for the solid understanding -- here goes…

You will make money by building a list interested in a certain subject (or niche as it's called) -- spending sometime nurturing a relationship with this list -- listening to what they need -- before introducing them to products you know they will be interested in.

By far the majority of website owners are too busy -- or too desperate -- to make money immediately -- that they forget this. Or ignore it. The majority of website owners do not comprehend how important the relationship with their visitor/customer is.

Imagine you went into a store and the sales assistant was immediately in your face screaming 'buy, buy, buy!' You'd leave -- without purchasing. And so you should.

It's exactly the same for a web business. This is a store -- only online.

So why should it be any different to an OFFLINE business? It isn't!

I hope suddenly you are beginning to see this. Many do not.

Remember when you first started dating? You need to get to know each other first, learn about each other. You wouldn't propose on your first date (although I proposed on the 5th!)

Building a web business is the same.

Date your visitors! (metaphorically let me add...)!

Make them feel special.

Seduce them.

Dazzle them.

Reply to their emails.

Offer a wonderful free gift as an incentive to get them to join your list -- send an unadvertised bonus after they sign up - communicate with them.

Does it take more work? Yes. Most certainly it does. But not that much more. A few weeks -- a month at the most.

And then when the time comes to introduce a paid product -- your list will already be 'warmed' up to you -- resulting in them being a LOT more responsive.

Only One Way To Earn Online

When I first started online, I was here, there, & everywhere, dabbling in this & that, trying to make money in all kinds of ways.

That's true of most people when they first start online I suppose.

And it's understandable.

At that stage we're traveling through a strange and unknown world of all kinds of technical and marketing wonders, and those smoothly written sales letters are a siren's song to us e-venturers!

In my own search for a bit of Internet Marketing clarity along the way, I discovered a marketing truth that was so easy to state and understand, and yet so profound to me, that I'd like to share it with you here.

Ready?

Here it is...

There's really only one way to make money online:

You have to sell something.

That's it. Simple. Clear. And yes, even obvious.

But it's so easy to lose sight of that when we're bombarded with all kinds of make money online offers, methods, secrets, techniques, etc. that promise easy, push-button income.

There seem to be at least a million and one ways to make money online (and many of them "secret" of course), but there's really just one:

You have to sell something.

Either your own product, service, or asset, or someone else's product, service, or asset.

You have to sell people to opt-in.

You have to sell them to click on your article resource box, or on your affiliate link.

You have to sell them on using your article writing service.

"What about Adsense sites? That doesn't seem like selling." you say. Yep - selling. Selling your traffic to advertisers.

Now selling definitely doesn't mean you have to get out & meet people face-to-face, or start cold-calling.

Not at all.

It's a good thing too, because I know for many reading this, and myself when I first realized it, the thought of selling something will set off all kinds of alarm bells, fears, doubts, and other negative feelings.

Fortunately the Internet offers us a very comfortable, low-key, non-traditional means of selling if we prefer that approach.

So there's half the formula - find something you want to sell.

The other half is "find someone to sell it to" - but that's a different article.
